Angelica Zatarain was born in San Diego, California and raised in neighboring Tijuana, Mexico. Growing up in a border city allowed her to learn how to simultaneously navigate starkly different cultures from a young age; something she is grateful for and recognizes as a great aptitude to possess in an ever-connected world.
In 2010 she moved to Los Angeles, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Minor in Screenwriting at USC. She’s proud of being part of the Trojan family and has no regrets about her college experiences – not even her student loans.
After graduating, Angelica joined Jason Oppenheim’s team as an intern at Coldwell Banker where she fit right in with his always busy and sometimes hectic office. When Jason ventured out to open his own brokerage, The Oppenheim Group, Angelica took the role of his Assistant, aiding him with his new and rapidly expanding business.
She currently serves as Jason’s Executive Assistant, and is an integral part of The Oppenheim Group, where she manages Jason’s business and personal affairs, and works closely with his associates and other staff members.
Angelica is passionate about knowledge, culture and all members of the Canis lupus familiaris. In her spare time, she’s always looking for the next creative project to work on, as she finds creativity to be an essential part of her life.
