As the Senior Vice President of The Oppenheim Group, Brett manages a group of elite real estate agents who sell more than $250 million in properties annually, distinguishing themselves as one of the premier real estate teams in Los Angeles. Brett has built an incredibly successful referral driven practice, representing clients in the purchase and sale of luxury properties across the city. He has appeared on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing LA,” HGTV’s “Selling LA,” and was recently named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of Los Angeles’s Top 25 Real Estate Agents.

Brett completed his bachelor’s degree at UC Berkeley, receiving Phi Beta Kappa academic honors, and is a UCLA Merit Scholar and graduate of UCLA School of Law. As a former securities litigation attorney at two of the nation’s largest law firms, Skadden, Arps LLP & Latham & Watkins LLP, he represented parties to multi-billion dollar lawsuits, including the widely publicized WorldCom litigation. Brett also possesses unique professional experience as an international asset manager, having travelled to more than 70 countries and managed complex real estate transactions on three continents.

Representing the fifth generation of his family to practice real estate in Los Angeles, Brett has a profound understanding and appreciation for the city. His great-great-grandfather, Jacob Stern, was one of the first real estate developers of early Los Angeles and a seminal figure in establishing Hollywood as the world’s entertainment capital. The Oppenheim family continues to develop, broker and manage local residential and commercial properties, giving Brett unique insight and access to all aspects of Los Angeles real estate.
